Dear Sir/Madam
For 16 years we have been going to Wetherspoons for meals. Last Sunday Tonbridge breakfast was badly cooked and the Latte was nearly hot. So every place can have and off day – no problem.
We returned this morning for Sunday breakfast. I ordered a bagel and cream cheese for my wife – sorry sold out. Ordered American pancakes and the Traditional breakfast for myself and two Latte.
Our coffee was not even warm and we received our food order 43 minutes after ordering it. The eggs for the Traditional breakfast was cold as well as there being no egg yolk (wonder where that went). I asked for another egg BUT Oh Dear too busy will have to wait for that. My wife’s American pancakes were cold and as she like butter we asked for that – SURE THING says waiter – of course never arrived.
We have stayed at your hotels and dined in numerous branches and until now have never had bad service or food.
PLEASE if this is now a cost cutting exercise let me know as we will not be returning to Wetherspoons until the high standard has been restored to your branches.
