Dear Hussain

RE: Football at Ringmer

The cuisine and ambiance at Ganges had been highly recommended to my husband from a work colleague, so we decided on impulse to dine at our closest restaurant which happened to be in Ringmer. Please note, this was not the recommended one. We arrived at about 8.15pm and were quite shocked when we walked in. We were greeted by a flat screen tv facing the diners playing football!!!

Obviously this was not what we were expecting when we decided to go out for the evening. The volume was not too loud but it was extremely distracting and irrelevant to a night out. The decision was unanimous in the fact that now we would be taking the food out and not dining in.

The staff were polite and courteous and cannot be faulted, more importantly the food was second to none, but we would have really enjoyed the experience of eating in your restaurant.

I feel the need to ask you whether this encounter is representative of the atmosphere that Ganges is promoting?

I would appreciate your thoughts on this matter.

Kind Regards
