Last week I purchased 3 packs of rolls from M & S Canterbury to take on a family picnic the following day. We all sat down to enjoy our picnic but on opening the packs found that rolls in each packet had patches of green mould on them, needless to say this spoilt the picnic.

Yesterday I bought a pack of Torbay Dove Sole from the same M & S, when opening the sealed pack to cook last evening, it was immediately obvious from the smell that the fish had gone off.

Your food never has long sell by dates on, but surely it is reasonable to buy food from your store to use on the same day of purchase or the following day, without having to worry that it has gone off.

Come on M & S, I have never had this problem with food purchased from Waitrose and I really don’t expect to have this problem with food from M & S.
