Stoke-on-Trent City Council
Civic Centre
Glebe Street

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to you in regards to the way that mine, and many other tax payers money is being spent. I do not know if you are aware, but the roads in and around the city of Stoke-on-Trent are becoming a danger to drive on and for cyclists to ride on. There seems to be nothing being done about this ever increasing problem and I know that many other people feel the same.
Not only is it becoming a danger to drive upon the crumbling surfaces, the repairs to my car are becoming ridiculous. Suspension, tyres, cracks in the windscreen due to the force of hitting 6-8 inch deep potholes, it is becoming tiresome and I am considering sending you all my receipts for the work done to my car, as if you had fixed the roads, the work would not have needed doing!
I have never had a problem with Stoke-on-Trent city council, you have always taken my bin, given me parking tickets for being on double yellows, mowed the grass at the side of the road, planted nice flowers, all the things a council should do. However none of these things are going to be able to happen for much longer if you cannot drive around because we are using dirt tracks, which is what they will be if they are not resurfaced soon.
I look forward to hearing from you and learning what is being planned for the tarmac of our city.
