i was in winchester “the gaol house having a quiet drink with a friend we had nearly a full pint and left the table for a ciggarette one of the staff was very rude and said i will clear ure table as i was spoken to very un polite i asked to see the manager when approached by the manager he said that he used to be a police officer and would rather believe his staff . now if he had a previous job as a police officer is he aloud to use it now he isnt i am fed up as i have had no problem and used the pub every day i want to push this as i have bin told i am banned now the manager needs to understand that he is no longer a police officer and works for you i will go alot higher and public if i do not get an appolligy

not happy about staff
I also use this pub everyday, morning for coffee and afternoon for a pint and a meal. I find this comment extremly hard to believe as all the staff members I encounter on a daily basis are always kind,polite and helpful. Also, if you are leaving a table unattended, why would they not clear it? Surely this is to provide a good service in regards to cleaning and resetting the tables for future customers, especially how busy this pub is.
