I have tonight, with my 2 children, visited your Meridian Park, Leicester, LE19 1JZ outlet, I order a medium/well done steak, on coming out with the other 2 chosen dishes, my steak was “oozing” with blood, my waitress apologised and took it back to the kitchen, my 2 children had almost finished their meals when I had to ask where my replacement was, when it arrived it was still pink in the middle of the steak. On taking our plates away our waitress asked if everything was alright with our meals, to which I replied no my steak still wasn’t how I’d asked for it to be cooked. On returning to our table with our bill she told us that the kitchen staff had said “in their professional opinion the steak was cooked as asked, my answer was “their professional opinion says a steak pouring with blood is NOT in fact cooked medium/well done”,
My family and I almost always visit the Harvester in Leicester when out for a meal so I was quite taken aback tonight.
Your thoughts on this matter would be appreciated.
