Where to begin….
I have been trying to join sky for the past three months and are no closer to success, Firstly, the day the engineer was to come to connect my line changed twice without anyone telling me until i called to enquire why he had not turned up.
Then, when the engineer finally appeared he informed me he didnt know how to connect my line as the box was overused and assured me he would get back to me in a couple days after speaking to his manager… two weeks passed before i called sky again. No record of me could be found and i was passed to various idiots who didnt have a clue what to do. Finally someone hung up on me.
I called back and was assured an engineer would call me back, over a week later i was called out the blue while at work by an engineer who said he was on his way to my home. He was very rude when i explained i was at work but reluctantly set another date, this date came and went with no one arriving.
By this point I was determined to cancel and get my money I had put forward for installation back, However, on calling i was,again, put on hold and sent between departments by people who simply refused to listen to me. I gave up eventually.
Some time passed and an engineer again called me out the blue to set a date to install my phone line, He did turn up… 2 hours later than expected. The phone line was finally installed and I was given an activation date for my broadband, the 19th april… this date came and went and I have yet to recieve a router… Oh and my phone line does not have a dial tone!!
I have just called sky yet again to find out what is happening and have been passed to and fro without any success!! Oh and the customer service advisor hung up on me!!

My recommendation to everyone is DO NOT JOIN SKY it is alot of grief without any benifets!!!!!!
