i used to go to my local aberdare wetherspoons on a regular once a week basis its near my library and handy for a quick lunch before shopping ..now well its so expensive for a burger and i asked for cheese with a pint of rev.james £6.64?! no trimmings of half tomatobit of lettuce and cucumber, no pot of salsa or tomato chutney – cold plate -a beef patty in a bun not bap with the memory or a thin presliced piece of cheese on it and some chips scattered to fill the plate , are wetherspoons hard up whats happened to the good quality and service you boasted you had? i could have had a pub lunch and a pint for what i paid ?!
i also hate it when women come in with their friends and bring a gaggle of children and dont sit in the child friendly area designated area, screaming kids wanting attention, the toilets ransacked with soap foam over the sink, loo roll dragged everywhere, nappy changing a joke,then some kids running amuck with women chasing after them, staff trying to clean up the aftermath after they go too.i walk straight out if i see them there, but if the come in after ?!
drunks are in the wetherspoons at lunch time now 1pm onwards, and i recall 3 to 6 was around their time there and i avoided it!
sorry wetherspoons your pants are falling down!!
