having ordered three chicken triples we received one :
ordered two garlic breads and two coleslaw
three pints included
table 19 : we received one , I ate mine ;……. we waited and waited …
my two colleagues enquired where theirs were ?
the manager apologised and said she would give the extra one at half price > I said that sounds good i’ll take that:
for £7.09 extra you can have the two chickens and garlic bread … ok said I…
i’d eaten mine , the next two chickens arrived… `when my friends had finished the garlic bread arrived …cold
we’d lost the will to live by then ..
when I got home I did the maths , if I got what I ordered I would have paid approx. £ 21.27 for the chicken .
£ 3.50 for the garlic bread …
the manager said i’ll give you the chicken for half price… ( remember i’d eaten mine ) ..my colleagues were sitting here like lemon s …..
feeling foolish..
I then paid more than I would have done , if I had what I ordered , when I ordered it and eaten with my colleagues …
I’ve never been so embarrassed as I felt today ,. in the white swan in leighton,.,
I ended up paying £ 32.00 approx. …. ( waiting for my next credit card bill ) for exact amount,,,
it spoiled the evening for us …
