Hi Josephine
Sorry to hear there was confusion at the till yesterday when you tried to spend your points.
I work at Nectar & can confirm this information, which you can find at our website too:
Every 500 points is worth £2.50 off your shopping and you can redeem as many blocks of 500 points as you like, up to the total cost of your shopping.
You can copy & paste this link for full details of spending in Sainsbury’s: http://www.nectar.com/spend/sainsburys/index.rnectar
I’m also sorry that the store didn’t answer this for you, so we’ll get in touch with the store manager & ask that he update the team with this knowledge.
Regards
Eve
Me again Josephine,
I realise this happened a couple of weeks ago – sorry, but have spoken to Steve, who is the manager at Middle Warren. He’s unaware of any technical problems at that time and is happy to help if you ask for him next time you are in store.
We wondered whether you might have had less than 1,000 points, until you completed your shop that day…
Steve will help or call our team on 0844 811 0 811 if we can help further.
Thanks again
Eve

I have been following my nectar points on till receipts from BP petrol stations, and I noticed that somehow, you have managed to take points away from me, after awarding me double points for the month of February. I refer to 9/2/2016 5832 points, 10/2/2016 5892 at 10.53 am, however at 5.35 pm on the 10th, the points read 5728. Can you explain that, or has mathematics changed recently? Today 11th February at 10.47 am, the points read 5758, after purchasing 15 litres of fuel. What has happened to my 164 points?
Yours faithfully. James Gill.
