Dear Sir /Madam
On Saturday 18 June, at about 8 pm, I had a very awful incident at Sainsbury’s Colliers Wood branch, when I was doing my usual shopping.
A security guard was looking at me in a very offensive way. He looked at me and my shopping bag continuously and several times and spoke to the other security guard as if I were stealing something. I felt deeply offended and very upset, It was like he wanted to bully me intentionally. I approached him and asked to check my shopping bag to relieve him from any doubt or suspicion. He refused to do that. The other security guard approached me and threatened me with “arrest and banning” me from Sainsbury in case I ever went back there, which I think, was very unfair, because I had not done anything wrong.
I believe that the security guards should treat customers with respect and not look at them in an accusative manner as if they were thieves without a proper reason. I think that, was a very unprofessional way of handling a security job, and that the security guard who caused this incident was an amateur, and had no experience of the job, he needed proper training.
During the ten years that I am shopping at Sainsbury, I never had any incident like that. I live locally and as a family man, I do almost all my shopping at Sainsbury’s.
I would very much appreciate it, if you could stop the security guards from threatening and bullying me, so that I can do my shopping there as normal.
I will be waiting to hearing from you soon.

Yours Faithfully
F. Arroyo
